shit i thought the 22re only had 87kw, muhuhahhaaha if it does really have 98kw might explain why it goes alright, if the 2sc does an 18.3 that'd put the 22re down in the 17 second range not quick but still alright for an old car plus its not quick off the line but good for roll on acceleration

yeah but atleast it can spin the wheels unlike certain 4ac's and k series motors. I know it's crap it drinks fuel like a v8 but i still have fun in the process and its my first car and will be getting upgraded at the end of the year. New car don't ask me what though.

I think a few people are doing a quarter mile right now their 2s powered Coronas, when they cross the line we will have a time..........waiting........
On a more serious note. The 0-100 must be about the same time as the quarter?

never having driven a 2sc wouldn't know but i reckon the 22re would be hitting maybe 120-130 across the quarter. Oh and don't joke about shit like that, in a rotary test in motor once they got an old cosmos 400m time was like 22 secs or something, they didn't have a long enough straight to wind it out to 100kmph.

cosmo = large, heavy heap. Was probably a 13b cosmo to, making it even slower.

Ah, the early cosmo. Well, then it's not weight, it's technology.

I'd say around 18 seconds would be right.
we did a rough test and found it to be around that area.
I thought it was wrong at the time seen as tho i had just bought the car and thought it was the shit.
