Scraping noise from rear wheel

Ever since I put the new engine in I have been getting a strange scraping noise from my rear left(Passenger) wheel?
I dont know how to describe it, it sounds like metal rubbing on metal, theres no squealing, just scraping, when I stops it stops, but as I get faster it gets louder?
I havent noticed any differences in my handling or ride quality or braking, I will jack the car up tonight and see if it makes the noise when I spin the wheel, but does anyone know what could be causing it, and how I can go about fixing it?
