Just wondering if many ppl have painted here before..
I'd appreciate if anyone might be able to help me out on this subject...
i'm respraying a celica st162 SX..
Its Red at the moment.. the standard red, the paint is quite good on it in some parts, but on the right side i think its been resprayed and they have sprayed a clear coat over the top of it.. The bonnet also has quite a few stone chips, and the sunroof will need doing as well..
So basically i'd respray the whole car. How much paint would i actually need? Don't exactly feel like gettin Way more than necessary. Which thinners as well would be needed? Can i use the k&h General Thinners?
What else would be needed apart from the following and how much would u say is needed:
- Enamyl Paint
- Primer Filler
- Thinners
- Sand Paper
- Masking Tape..
Also tryin to figure out about colour. I wouldn't mind doin it the standard colour, but i've taken a liking to the colour that appears on these cars
