The bastard won't come off
I've double, trippled, 100led checked that all bolts are off, gearbox crossmember is unbolted, all ancilleries are off - starte/clutch cyl. but the thing is so attached and stubborn
any tips?
i've tried chisel, hammering it, kicking, jacking it up and down etc
help

Normally I just stick a big screw driver in between the bellhousing and block and just wedge it out.

Did u get that bolt right at the top of the gearbox near the heater hoses.
That can be a bastard to find sometimes
U need a HUGE extension to get that 1!
Come round and have a look at my gbox to see where all the bolt holes r if ur stuck.
Just keep tryin des

The AE86 engines had a pair of stays on the bottom of the engine block which connected to four bolts on the front side of the engine.

Maybe the metal pole coming out of the gearbox and attached to the thing at the back of the car that makes the wheel turn is still attached and is inhibiting the sliding action
Sorry, couldn't help it
Perhaps you can fix it with fireworks! (Remember that classic Simpsons episode )
