What condition are the T50 gearboxes in? Is the Celica T50 the same as the AE86 T50?

and no..the AE86 box is different...in a couple ways, shifter pos (you can only fit the TA22 ex housing with the TA22 selector shafts)and the output spline i.e tail shaft spline is different...

the microtech is sold !
the carbies are off a 2tg and the inlet manifold is included it will bolt straight up, but they will fit any dcoe pattern
all the gearboxes are in good condition, nice and tight they were all behind 2t's or 3t's....no way that those motors could do any damage !
cheers

as far as i know the t-50 from a celica can not be used behind a 4age
it needs a A series t-50 (AE86 or AE71)
or use a A bellhousing on a T-18 t-50
the t-50 celica box is different and i belive wiill not take the A bellhousing

you can use the celica gearbox. you just need to get the correct bellhousing. at this price get the gearbox then source the bellhousing. you wont find a cheaper t50 at this price

yes but you will need to get a inlet manifold to suit a DCOE pattern to the 4ac

i have driven with all the boxes they are all pretty good bar one which needs a bearing replacement no big deal just makes a funny noise sometimes
to do a manual conversion you will need, the box (duh), pedals, clutch flywheel etc. clutch slave, clutch master cylinder and a speedo cable i think thats about it on these old cars
