Yes, I am a young bloke with an interest in cars. Yes, I am on my P's. Yes, I wear a baseball cap. THESE THINGS DO NOT MAKE ME A MORON! I pay these people good money (that I earn at $9 an hour) for their work and they still do a shit job and think they can get away with it!?! I know this car inside out, every mod I have carried out myself. I only pay for things I can't do myself. It seems everytime I DO go to get something done, the @$#@s do a bodge job and rip me off!! They see the car I drive (a Celica - hairdressers car, I know), see the P plates and seeing as its in pretty good nick, think I'm loaded and can take me for a ride!! IM FRIKIN SICK OF IT!!! For example, today I pick up my car after having the A/C converted. The shop was highly recomended by a mate who deals with them a lot. They've spilled refrigerant all over the engine and paint, they've put the outlet hose across the thermostat so I cant get to it, they've NOT clamped the battery, bent the mouting plate and left the terminals loose! They've lost screws and clips - the condensor isn't bolted down properly! It just makes me angry!! But this isn't the first time!!! For example, when I had the accident, the panelbeaters still did a crap job in spite of me paying extra for them to do it properly!! And its not little things they got wrong - the paint on the quarter panels and roof dont match up - its already starting to peel after 10 months! They didn't get the edge of the A-pillar straight! They oversprayed primer on the bonnet then accused me of doing it!?!? Simple things they could avoid if they put a tiny bit more effort and care in. Does this only happen to me or is everyone getting screwed!? [/rant] [Report message to a moderator]
