jerking engine??? i don't know... Mon, 13 June 2005 15:27 Go to next message
good day! Very Happy

i have this problem of mine since like 7 months now...

let's say i'm crusing down the road and release the gas pedal, it feels like an engine break or something's hit you on the back or your bumper.

checked the tps and the voltage its OK, checked for vaccum leaks its OK, change fuel filter, cleaned the air filter, checked the spark plugs and wires its OK, timing is 10 deg.

engine is 7age... but the problem was still there before i did the conversion (was still 4age 1.6L)

hoping for your help.

thank you. Very Happy

are the brakes dragging or catching on something? if you jack the car up can you freely spin the wheels?

just checked the wheels as you said, they turn freely...

the rpm or engine speed will somewhat dive when release my foot of the gas pedal.
