Superstrut disc thickness

I'm getting some new discs for my superstrut conversion on my AE93 and want to confirm what discs and thicknesses people use?
I've searched and done all the reading, incl that twincam.org thread, which says they're a 25mm thickness, but also to use a DBA disc off an ST185, part no. DBA743. Now that, and the RDA equivalent (RDA7475) are listed as 28mm thickness.
What's the correct thickness, 25mm or 28mm? Is 28mm too thick? There is another RDA disc, RDA7515 which is 24.7mm (?), which disc have you used?
Also, the discs that came on the struts are pretty chewed, what's the minimum thickness i can run if i get them machined?
Help please, i want to get these sorted for this weekend!
