How do you think SU's would go on a 2TG. Has anyone had a good or bad experience with a setup like this?
Would Webers go better?

both seem to go well, solex and webers are pretty popular and parts are easy and cheaper than other carbs, *cough* dellorto.
i have seem twin sidedraft solex for sale cheap, they were standard on the 2tg and they have them in the 2tg service manual.

Don't bother putting SU's on anything, unless you want to restore a SSS Datsun, or an MG. They are a pretty useless induction setup and they aren't in the same league as Webers or Solexes, not even playing the same game Very Happy
SU's are only single throat (~32mm I think), versus dual 40mm or 44/45mm throats on a DCOE carb. A single sidedraught Weber/Solex will go harder than twin SU's and probably cost the same.

Anyone know where we can find the 2tg service manual, in particular the part about carbs. Reason being is that we are putting the mikuni's on a 3tc this week and it might come in handy for tuning etc.
