My bodgy home page. Thu, 06 June 2002 12:37 Go to next message
Hi guys, my mate has helped me build a home page to show some of the photos of my car during various stages of the rebuild. If you can spare the time to download it i would appreciate any suggestions or feedback on what i could do to make it better. I have never had a homepage before so i dont really know where to start.
Its at, http://www.froggy.com.au/jamie_colleen/home.htm

Thanks. Jamie

I reckon it looks pretty good! I like the pictures of your car, very sweet!

Just a few things though.

The hit counter is'nt showing correctly.
I reckon reduce the size of the MRTA22 "plate" just a tad, and bring the text up the page just a little!
And put the Pictures link on the right hand side of the page! Doing this will allow you to add more links at a later date and keep them neat looking.
Just my thoughts.

The web page looks mighty fine to me. Keep the page simple and you'll have more time to work on the Celica! Car looks shit hot and I love all of the mods so far. I've already posted my little web page but just in case you missed it, take a look and tell me what you think. It's bloody close but I've put the project on hold just until I buy our new house next year. I have a few questions about your car, but I'll email you at home. My stero system sounds sweet, so if you have any questions in that department I may be able to help out. I'm also planning a roll cage so maybe we can get a better deal with 2?

MRTA22: Your car has come a long way, love it.
justinharwoodran: Nice car to.

Both your site are looking pretty good.

Guys go to www.cjb.net for free URL redirection.
To get a domain of http://yourdomainhere.cjb.net or it will work just as yourdomainhere.cjb.net .

mrta22.cjb.net and justinharwoodran.cjb.net are not taken.

Since we're all comparing bodgy home pages you may as well look at the one I'm doing - just a template, none of the links work, got so little time as it is...

Thanks very much guys. I will make the changes cool1 suggested once i get the time. I will take more pics and add them as well (of brake upgrade, interior,in the boot etc.) Justin i love your car as well, it would be great to cruise with you someday.
My mate who painted it is Johhny Rizeq and Aaron Portelli did the body work. The number for Johnny is 0414653047. I took the car back there today to get in the boot painted and under the guards. It also still hasnt been cut and buffed yet so that will get done as well. (the pics are straight off the gun!!!)
Thanks again and check the site from time to time for changes.

Jamie

Thanks for the efforts guys,

It's sites like yours that I find encouraging when I realise the paint and rust in my car has to be destroyed.

Damn I need to make more money!

Thanks alot Rollaboy! I just used front page and my free 10meg webspace. Frontpage is a very hard program to get used to. Try the Geocities free webpage or the link cool1 suggested.

Jamie.
