After doing a diagnostic check I have found that my knock sensor (on my 4agze) has carked it. I have tried all sorts of things and I am sure that it is rooted. Are the 4afe knock sensors the same? What about 3s series engines?
I have read that a 7m sensor might fit but i have done a bit of research and supposedly you shouldn't put a sensor from a 6 cylinder onto a different configuration (ie 4 cyl) as the sensor will pick up different vibrations that it hasn't been made to read.
