Are old cars a magnet for accidents?

Driving in to Civic on Saturday night to see a movie.
Left home - saw movie - arrived home again... total driving time I'd say about 30 mins. In those 30 mins I think I counted about 4 accidents I could have been in.
3 people cut me off and 1 person wasn't looking/willing to give way in a parking lot.
Now the TA22 has survived for over 30 years...so why now are people trying to to do their best to turn it into a colourbond fence???
Are other people experiencing these things or am I just going crazy?

People cannot stand having an old car in front of them. They have spent tens of thousands of dollars on their boring new car and their ego gets upset and they have to pass you.I get it all the time especially on the Anzac bridge where the speed limit is now 60,I travel at 70,these small penis people see the venetian and whitewalls and pass you at 90 then cut you off.It shits me but it is so much fun to drive my car the frustration passes quickly.

I nearly had a prang yesterday, someone backed out of their driveway right into the middle of the road in front of me, and there was an oncoming car, fortunately he saw what was developing and moved across further which gave me space to avoid a collision. Only missed both cars by about a foot on either side, my heart was beating like a rabbit after that!
Supposedly grey cars are the least likely to be involved in an accident according to studies. Makes sense as my parents' red Lexcen has been in 2, and someone rearended the red Mazda once lol

i was sitting at a give way sign behind an old man in a festiva
he was turning right and i was turning left . but i couldnt quite get past/next to him to turn so i waited behind and off to his rear left, waiting ...waiting ...
now there is no cars
his REVERSELIGHTS COME ON AND HE SLIDES BACK INTO MY RIGHT FRONT FENDER !!!!!!!!
stopped after i beep heaps and scream .. lucky it was only a scratch ... that was cut/polished out
as we are both checking our cars for damage A 4WD of some sort (big one like a prado) comes up and starts beeping MOVE YOUR CARS !! the tard says .. now the giveway sign was on a local suburban street which may have a car or 2 go down it every 5 mins ..
MOVE YOUR F*#%CKING CARS YOUR BLOCKING THE ROAD ...
he could have gone around us VERY easy with his FUCKING MASSIVE INNERCITY 4WD PEOPLE MOVER THAT HAS NEVER SEEN DIRT but insted he sits and yells ...
1. OLD ppl need to be pulled over more often than p platers (not that i am one)
2. people in 4wds shouldnt be in suburban areas.
