Is it legal in QLD to put a 18RGEU motor with a turbo added into a RA28 celica???
At the moment i have a 18RGU carb powered donk, and that needed a plate so it could be put in. Would the turbo and EFI conversion be acceptable??
I know i'd need a engineers cirtificate but even so, will the added turbo be allowed to pass roadworthy? I have seen RA28's with 1G's in them and they seem to be fine and legal, but im just making sure. If anyone out there has put a 18RGEU Turbo motor in their RA28/RA23, what other mods did you have to do to make it legal??? I think my brakes may have to be upgraded, but is there any other safety mods that will be needed to pass the roadworthy?
