Howdy all, well i'm thinking in preperation for the next track day i'll invest in something to measure tyre temps.

Would like to get more of an idea if i'm running correct pressures, camber, etc.

I've been looking around for a pyrometer, and what confuses me is companys like Longacre make devices just for this purpose eg - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&a mp;category=35625&item=4534166549&rd=1& ;ssPageName=WD1V

But then you can get something for less than half the price from Jaycar. - http://www1.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=QM160 0&CATID=&keywords=temperature&SPECIAL= &form=KEYWORD&ProdCodeOnly=&Keyword1=& amp;Keyword2=&pageNumber=&priceMin=&pr iceMax=&SUBCATID=

Is there actually a difference? Or do you just pay more for the longacre one because its for a 'race car'.

Cheers
Joel
