intercooler piping 2" to 3" Tue, 12 July 2005 11:32 Go to previous message
Hey All

Scenario
Im just bought a new front mount intercooler and like all the OEM coolers it has 3" endtanks.

All the pre-existing piping in my TA22 is 2"

the intake on my 3tgte plenum and outlet on turbos is 2", so i dont really feel the need to upgrade to 3" all the way.

Question
So hopefully my solution to the problem, Will a silicon hose reducer cause any issues like air turbulance or noticeable pressure drops.

this is the item i was looking at using if suitable

Any feedback will be appreciated
