Wheel Alignment settings... what you think? Wed, 13 July 2005 08:08 Go to previous message
Hi,

My car has aroun 2 degrees negative camber on the back. This is the least amount of camber they can adjust the wheels to cause my car has been lowered a bit. To compensate for inner tyre wear the guys that did my wheel alignment for me said they put extra toe in/out so that the tyres would wear out evenly.

What you guys think of this...

Shouldn't they just keep the wheels straight... and then when the inner side of the tyres start look like they are getting bad I just rotate the tyres (swap the tyres/rims)

Or is what they are doing sounding more logical?

Thanks in advance..
