Hyperboost -how to hold boost up top Tue, 19 July 2005 07:04 Go to next message
I just like to know if anyone knows how to adjust the Hiperboost controller so it holds boost higher in the rpm range?
I don't have standard turbos..i got those blitz ct12's but the boost still drops about 2 to 3 psi..from 15psi. I want to keep it at a steady 14psi all the way trough redline...anyone know???
Thanks
PS: I know its not good for the turbos to do this as they have to spin harder but since these are good till 17psi i think it'll be ok...

hi mate,

mine holds solid boost no dramas.

what you may have done is wound up the pressure reg past where your bleed is set.... causing a mid range boost spike.

this would give the impression of boost dropping off top end.

try winding the pressure relief off, adjust your boost to where you want it, and see if it holds there.

then wind the relief valve back on.

cheers
