jkvsnn Regular Location: Brisbane Registered: June 2002	Alternative alternator bracket for 4AG? Wed, 20 July 2005 13:24 Here's the thing. Have 20VST, for reasons of space I can't use std alternator. I have found a suitably small alternator (1kg lighter too ) from a petrol 2Y Dyna that fits except that the distance between the mounting bolts for is 6.5mm closer for the Dyna alternator. Does anyone know if the top alternator bracket from other 4A's are interchangable (or even different?) with the 20V one? why have i bothered typing this out...nobody is going to know this... Julian.
