Altezza RS200 Oil

You think this would be an easy one for Google!!
Can any one tell me how much oil you put into a Beams 3S-GE in a RS200 Altezza?
When doing an oil/filter change.
And any recommendations on the type of oil??

BTW, it's the wifes new toy, I'll post pics when it stop raining!!!

hmm i can try find out for you, otherwise you could just go with the dipstick markings.

Yep, that's what I do! Just grab 5 litres and fill it up until the dipstick says full. I doubt a 3S would take any more than 5 litres.

Thats what I thought before I ran Toyota, they told me 5.75l, I said WTF, my 1JZ doesn't take that much!!!
Any recomendations on oil type/grade??

Hey, great new toy! Join the altezza forum! Plenty of NZ members, that can help, Unfortunaltey, there are only 2 members with RS200's here in OZ.

most vvti engines use 10w30 im using mobil 1 5w50 and thats fine as well, as for how much 5.5 liters and 5.7 with new filter
