Thu, 21 July 2005 08:59 hey, i was just wondering if the A340E auto transmission will work without the use of the ECT ECU, as a manual shifting type box (IE shift lever to change gears). The torque converter clutch can be operated manual via controll module. the reason i want to do this is i have a 7mgte with wolf ecu in a 4WD hilux and want to use the auto trans. cheers steve [Report message to a moderator]
