Hi guys,I am thinking of running a 1G-GTE or 1G-GZE in my 94 hilux and would like to run this without the factory computer.
What aftermarket computer do you guys use that is easy to set up?

Say why you dont think the factory ECU is worthy.

It will give us an indication of what is going through your head so we can suggest accordingly.

Also...

Why does it have to be cheap? So it can lack basic functions or have inferior after-sales support?

Rex knows.

Of grammatical massiveness he is a staunch admirtationator, but racking his brain to find third person-ings for 'us' and 'we' that were of much acceptability was extreme in its difficultivity.

Y' feelin the Jive of the Rex-Force?

Like previously said, it is hard to find a 'good' and 'cheap' computer. May i suggest Microtech. i use it and am convinced it is the best bang for your buck computer.

'us' = Rex and his mates

'we' = Rex and his bitches

Thinking of getting just bare motor and not a 1/2 cut so most motors like this dont come with a computer.
Also after owning a 91 Soarer with a 1jz-gte and playing around with the exhaust it used more fuel than a big cammed 780 holley 350 chev I use to own Confused The computer was not mod friendly as I was told by a tuner?
Also I was talking to a guy that fits motors into cars for motor importer and he said he gets computers for about $1000 so I am thinking of suppling the computer and looking to get one ordered from the net to save some more money.
I guess I am looking for good value for money, not good and cheap!
