Clutch slave cylinder woes.

I took the RA28 around to Kev's (EVOSTi) place on Friday so he could do some work on it for me. One of the jobs was replacing the clutch slave cylinder. It has been leaking for quite a while now so I thought he may as well whip it off and replace it.
We took it to a few parts places out Campbelltown and no one had any in stock. We couldn't even actually identify what model it is exactly. The Celica has a 3TGTE and an unknown gearbox. We took the cylinder to a specialist clutch place and they couldn't even id it looking through their old parts books. They put a couple of new seals in it to at least get me out of Kev's driveway and back home.
The only thing I know about the box is that the previous owner described it as an "alloy split case" box. He wasn't sure where it was sourced from. Kev has a sneaking suspicion it may be an import Sprinter box. The slave cylinder is located on the driver side of the box and apparently it's normal for them to be on the passenger side.
Does anyone know where I could take it to in Sydney, to be at least identified, if not replaced?
I'm gonna (if the old bones allow me to) slide under the car and take it off again tomorrow, so I'll take a piccie of it if anyone's interested.
Cheers, Greg.
