Volvo 760 - crying for a 1UZ

Volvo 760 GLE, V6, auto, RWD, A/C, P/S, central locking, cruise, heated seats, power windows and mirrors, factory alloys with near new tyres, towbar, reasonably straight. The V6 engine has a head gasket issue, but who cares, it's so darned gutless and thirsty. This car is begging for a 1UZ to fix up the power/economy issues anyway, and would be great for cruising then. I was going to put a 1UZ into it myself, but the guy that was paying couldn't afford it when I priced it up, and agreed that fixing the V6 wasn't really worth the effort for the thirst and lack of grunt it always had. Being K-Jet, it already has a good sized fuel system, and being a Volvo means the brakes etc. will do the job. A 1UZ in here would be a great sleeper/cruiser with just a little hint of pimp, and just the thing to teach those Cressida kids a lesson If you like the idea of a 1UZ Volvo but can't be bothered doing it yourself, I might even be silly enough to help out.
Make an offer!
p.s. I'll put some pics up when I can find the sodding camera cable! (probably tomorrow)

More of the engine bay:

And, most importantly, if you bargain EXTRA hard, and I actually like the look of you, I might JUST throw these in:

Don't knock expired tomato sauce, otherwise known as barbecue sauce - goes great on ribs.
How much am I after? Hmmm, well these cars still seem to sell for about 5 grand, obviously I'm not after anything like that - make a reasonable offer and you might just score the shades
...and are you suggesting a Volvo is not a fun car?

These things engines are good for one thing.
Rev them in summer, that MASSSSSSSSSSSSSSIVE fan (behind the radiator!) pumps out mad amounts of... refreshingly cool air.
Who said volvo's aren't good for anything?
