September_Squall Forums Junkie Location: Melbourne, Australia Registered: March 2005	Steel to use for seat mounts Wed, 27 July 2005 15:56 Hi, I'm going to make up some seat mounts for a fixed back bucket seat. Will be a fixed mount with no rails fitted, just a frame between the floorpan and the seat. Was planning on using approx 2" flat plate steel, if this is significant. What grade and gauge of steel plate would be suitable? (search was not helpful) [Report message to a moderator]
