After having an argument with a local autobarn (I wanted a water temp gauge that does atleast 20/40* he claimed that engines will never run that low they can get upto 240Degs so I told him thats the stupidest thing i've ever heard.) I've realised that it would be good to invest in some to monitor the mr2.
Im looking at fitting the following white autometer face gauge(s):
- Water temp (120-240F)
- Oil Temp
Is a oil pressure necessary? My old engine blew due to the bottom end + over heating problems. (Turbo oil feed line started to block up)
I'm only trying to get whats essential to minimise the clutter.
Also who has fitted them onto the 3SGTE? how did you route them? Via the Oil cooler adaptor? (I dont think mine has an Oil cooler adaptor..) Could the oil temp sensor be fitted to the sump plug with a suite fitting?
