what would i need if i wanted to convert my rear drums to use these discs?? is it a hard job? would it be best for the mecanic to do it? if its do-able then i will buy the rears...

I would assume you need the rear disc hub assembly off an AE92 SX corolla (I only have 1) first if u wanted to convert to discs on the rear.. the handbrake may be another issue though, I am not sure of the actual differences in the connections for the handbrake..
It something you may want to ask your mechanic about since I own an ae82 and never had to convert from drum to disc.. somoene on the forums should know though

bump, I will drop the fronts to $175... I did pay 130 for the pads alone...
