Compression readings in an 18R-C Tue, 28 January 2003 09:39 Go to previous message
Hi

Today i was driving arround and the temp has been going crazy, Im pretty sure that i have a jammed thermostat, anyway because the engine has been running quite hot and it is old, I thought i should check the compression for a possible blown head gasket, im not losing any water but better be safe than sorry.

Anyway what i want to ask is what is the normal compression reading on an 18R-C engine

Thanks

Daniel
