Due to financial reasons and my penchant for spending copious amounts of money on cars, it's been decided for me that it is in my best interests to sell my ride.
Anyone who knows me will tell you, I love this car to death, but it must be done.
The specs:
Model: 1988 Toyota Supra GT Limited Turbo-A
Engine: 3.0 Litre, inline 6-Cyl turbochaged - 7M-GTEU
Drive: 5 Speed Manual Transmission + LSD.
Colour: Black (same colour respray, has some marks from age)
ODO: 113,000 KMs
Rego till: Feb 06
Turbo-A 'features' are:
High flowed CT26 turbo
MAP based ECU for better performance
TRD long duration lift cams
Full leather interior
Much More: See here for a full list of differences...
Mods made before me:
17" Work Equip Wheels (235 front, 255 rear)
3" Turbo back 5Zigen exhaust
Supra window sils (rare)
Mods I've had done myself:
Full engine rebuild at 100,000kms (no expense spared)
Inc. oversized forged pistons, new oil/water pumps, all new bearings and seals
Block and head have been machined with total precision
Block has also been o-ringed and fitted with a custom made copper head gasket (that sucker aint blowing again)
High flowed injectors
New OEM clutch and flywheel
New centre bearing
Apex'i Power Intake air filter
Apex'i AVC-R Electronic boost controller (currently tuned to 11psi)
Cusco Front AND Rear strut braces
TEIN Type Flex height and bound/rebound adjustable coilovers
Momo Race Steering wheel
Cheap shit fake carbon fibre shift knob (i have the original momo if wanted)
All original parts i have will be included. eg: stock air filter, fog lights.
Asking for $17,000 or best offer.
This may sound steep but the things pushing the price up are the $9,000 rebuild and brand new $3000 TEIN coilovers. Again, I can't stress my confidence in this engine. If you love MKIII Supras but are worried about BHGs? This is the car for you. If this car ever blows a head gasket again i will be VERY supprised. Of course I'm going to say that, but with the effort taken in the rebuild, it damn well better be true. Oil has been swapped out every 5000km and since I've had it has really only been driven on weekends. This is a reluctant sale (of course).
TIP: The engine is ready to handle some big HP after a few more minor mods. An air/fuel computer and maybe up the boost (fuel cut bypass required) and you're looking at some serious HP. I would suggest full ECU however.
PM, email supraforsale@funkynerd.com or call me on 0414365466. Feel free to ask questions about the car, it's history or anything else I might know about.
NOTE: For those that know of the carputer, i'm sorry to say it will not be sold with the car and will be replaced by a modest MP3 capable CD Player.

I have an online gallery with more pics than you can poke a push rod at right here...
