3TGTE wiring issues Tue, 09 August 2005 19:48 Go to previous message
Just a few quick questions to those 3TGTE minded persons:

Ive finally had a chance to get the 3t motor into my celica, now i need to sort out the wiring, ive got a loom which was already modified, however there seems to be alot of loose ends that need to be tied up..

now ive tried searching the site pretty thoroughly, but was unsuccessful in finding anything relevant to my query, so here goes;

1. no oxy sensor wire, im assuming this wil be important for the idle/cruise mixture.

2. either the cold start, or the air bypass valve is missing, are both of these essential? after running through the wiring, it seems that it is connected to the brown water temp sensor, would this be cold start or air bypass?

3. 2 coils only 1 ignitor, is this right? and its not connected, any idea which wire goes where?

4. The way the loom is wired up, i assume that all 4 injectors pulse at the same time, and could technically mix up the plugs, is this correct?

5. No ballast resistors, or anything of that sort, correct?

6. no knock control, te PC and PE points are wired to constand ground, correct?

Hope someone can help me

thanks guys

Mik
