Just got the 1ggze, kinda just popped up. I still am short of the wiring harness, ecu and afm, (ANYONE HELP) but here are some pics of the motor, come straight from japan out of a crown, i belive its gen3, but i hope to run it on a stand and prepare it before i even look at takin out hte 18r-g (which is still going strong!) If anyone has links to someone or a place that would have a loom for this motor, or that has a wiring diagram, please let me know, i might be able ot wire up a loom of my own.
Here are the pics of the new motor:

Hey guys! Finally, 18rg is long gone, and yep, didnt take me long Ready to rock!
Engine - Modified the front sump to fit, and using a 10mm spacer on 1 side, it sat beautfully, gearbox mounts were easy and with a bit of tugging and yanking (very hard without the removable brace where the radiator is like on ra23's) it just fit!
Its like it was meant to be there, shifter came up back further than the original, which is a beautiful position for shifting.
Just up to wiring up the wolf, and as posted, i am chasing 3 igniters
Brakes - Went with the ma45 brakes all round with larger booster, and the power steering as well. All went in with a breeze!
Enjoy the pics!
Steve

the 1st generation RA40's have a removable radiator support.
it makes things very easy
