Help with 4A-GE oil consumption.

Hey all, my 4AGE small port has been going through a load of oil recently
1L/1000kms), there is a slight oil leak but not enough to explain the oil consumption. Carried out a dry and wet compression test. came up with these results
Specs: 142-179psi
Dry
Cyl 1: 195psi
Cyl 2: 195psi
Cyl 3: 190psi
Cyl 4: 180psi
Wet
Cyl 1: 210psi
Cyl 2: 210psi
Cyl 3: 205psi
Cyl 4: 210psi
bit high wouldnt you think??
what was more interesting was the oily threads on the number 4 spark plug
any body got any ideas on the problem.
