Hey guys alittle stirred that My Car is NOT READY yet once again. The motor blew. got a seconhand ct26, Picked up the car and it had no boost. Got them to install a CT20b which they sourced from a 205GT4. this turbo wasn't boosting very much at all. only 3psi. So I asked if I could have my old turbo back but it was part of an exchange. So I had to buy another CT26 as I had no other option. Took this one to the turboshop to get rebuilt It's approaching 4 Weeks for a turbo rebuild (fitted) Dropped it off last month on the 15th of july. I went ahead with it as they said 3 working day turn around. To be Diagnosed the next day saturday and be installed tues/wed. 1 Week later the turbo was finally pulled apart. Another week passed and he only started working on it. The car would be ready saturday. Monday came and rang up. The mechanic busted his knee. Should be installed on Tuesday. Rang up 5pm tuesday He was just machining the housing and should be installed wednesday. Went to the workshop closed and no answer on work # and mobile #. Today I rang up and was told "it's ready it should be ready to pick up today" drove past again just then. time is now 3:30PM and the car is still the same as it was weeks ago. Now I dont mind if he just told me the truth all along instead of G'ing me up in anticipation. But I haven't been able to get to work as its my daily driver. I have given an ultimatim that I need the car as of this week due to the Warranty only being 30days on the engine So I want to be able to diagnose it As I have been screwed around by that workshop with dud turbos. What am I todo? I've been stressing all day As I haven't been to work and im not rostered till next week, My budget is going thin as I have bills to pay. This guy just keeps lying. I'd love to install the turbo myself but I dont have much knowledge or tools at home. [Report message to a moderator]
