ok, done a search but i think i would need a more precise diagnosis onto whats going on..
i got a KE30 with a 4AGTE, AFM/standard management, T28 turbo etc etc, been in the car for 6 months, drivent about once every week, loads of fun!
i took it out yesterday after a week of not driving it, and came across a problem - after i gave it abit up a street, it started to misfire (like on 3 cylinders) every time i gave it throttle. But this was like 30mins into the drive.
So i took it home and checked things i could imagine to cause this problem, leads, plugs, igntion, fuses etc etc...but the only things i could see were:
1. abit of water in all cylinders, not alot, but enough to notice if you peer down the holes...no.2 was not too bad tho.
2. spark plugs had a pretty noticeable build up of carbon
the radiator fluid was not too bad - as in milky wise, but i topped it up with more fluid.
-hasn't overheated in ages too.
So i took it out today for a drive and it was fine, UNTIL it came on boost and it began to do it again
went home, took out all the plugs, cleaned em all with a wire brush and i absorbed most of the liquid within the cylinders - took it out for a quick drive and it *seemed* fine (couldn't drive it hard)
are these the tell tale signs of a BHG? or could it be an electrical fault?
I know water in the cylinders is definately not good, but it just seems unusual that between yesterday and today, it ran fine for 10 mins, and then other times it would not even take off properly
ps. compression test soon, but i just want to eliminate other things beforehand
