HI guys,
I've got a bosch 60a internally regulated alternator from a scrapyard and mofified it to fit into my 18rc. The guy reckoned that it was from a Ford Fairmont. I had to have 2 mm taken off the pulley spacer and change the bottom and top mounts to make it fit, I also used a pulley of a ke70 corolla. I was back down the scrap yard the other day and found a 22re alternator. I couldn't compare it to the 18r but it looks real close. Could this be a much simpler exchange? Anybody done it? Thanks guys.
