i have recently purchased an 18rgu engine from the wreckers which had a blown head gasket. as a result the internals have a bit of rust (surface rust. but few parts a pitted) i need to get the cylinder rebored as a result but found oversized pistons cost $980 does anybody know of a slightly cheaper source for pistons? is it also possable to sell the origional pistons from it for close to the same rip off price as the new ones (or at least to subsidise a portion of the cost)
also i was after sources for the other things for it such as chains, guides, bearings, gaskets, $3000, and 2 spring cap thingos. if anybody can help me source any of these bits it would be very helpful
