AE82 V AE86

I am new to the toyota sceen and am looking for a ae86, I have found a ae82, have not been to have a look at it yet, It is a 1986 model and I am wondering what the differences are between the 2. Any help would be great

not sure if you're aware but the most obvious difference is ae86 is rwd and ae82 is fwd

Like I said I havn't been to see the car yet but I'm prety sure that i would have picked that out.

Ae82 FWD
AE86 4ac, jdm 4age
ae82 4ac, 4age, 3ac I think in some???
ae86 two door hatch, jdm sedan
ae82 4 door hatch, 4 door sedan
ae86 weights 950kg stock
ae82 ????? not sure
ae86 looks better stock, dift icon, although rarer car compared to other cars in jap scene in oz 
ae82 looks crap stock, tipical uni chick car 
ae86 costs alot more to modify then other jap cars
that was all i could think of for the time being

The only similarities are that they are both Corollas and driven by chicks.
Otherwise they are completely different.

they were both sold by toyota also....
it's kind of like asking if an RB gemeni is the same as the earlier ones....
ie AE86 is basically a KE70 with a facelift (of the body panels) and AE82 is the newer model

ae86's also came out with the 3ac's? but ae85?
ae82 twincam hatch = hekticness
