hi all
this is a question for anyone who would have an idea about the costs of fibreglassing.
on my ae86 there is an aftermarket sunroof (was already there when i bought it) and it is made of glass at the moment. i have been told by local scruitineers that i cannot do high speed events with it being glass. i would like to replace it with a solid fibreglass panel (dont want it transparent) and not colour matched, just a gloss black.
i got a quick quote from a local fibreglass fabricator that it would be about $80, but i still have to check if that is finished (nice and smooth and painted) as i think this is pretty cheap.
could anyone give me a ballpark figure on the cost of what i want to do? i am going to see a bodykit/repairer today to get their opinion as well.
