This Satellite Navigation/CD/radio unit is brand new for 2005/06, and the same as the ones fitted to select 2005 Toyota and Lexus models; it is a $5000 dealer option! Manufactured by Fujitsu (famous for Eclipse car audio) and JBL for Toyota.

Features

If you're looking for a place to eat and you're looking for the nearest restaurant, use the Point of Interest menu to list the categories and then select the "restaurants" category to list all the restaurants in your local area (or any area you select). They will then be displayed by name, in order from nearest to farthest away. Simply select one from the list and let the Navigation unit do it's work. If you need to call the restaurant to make reservations, the phone number of the restaurant will be displayed. Please note that there are a multifold of categories in the Point of Interest menu to choose from such as higher education, gas stations, grocery stores, banks, amusement parks, etc. If you can think of it, it's there.

You can select your destination by pushing the "Dest" button and entering the address, Point of Interest menu, emergency, name, memory, coordinates, phone #, intersection, or by manually selecting it on the touch screen.

This unit also has the ability to save up to 106 of your own personal memory points. These points could be your favorite places to go, places you go often, or even places you would like to go in the future. The memory points enable you to select your saved destination by only pushing a few buttons. Very convenient for when you're in a rush or if you found a location that you do not want to forget about.

Push the "Open" button and the screen flips down to reveal the MAP DVD slot and a slot for an audio CD. There is also a "Tilt" button which adjusts the screen to three variable angles for easier viewing. The Navigation system allows you to play your music with the voice navigation working at the same time, that's if the feature is selected. The song titles from CDs which use CD-TEXT are displayed in order up to 29 letters. MP3 and Video DVD Discs are not supported. Coastaletech.com will soon release an audio/video input that will allow the user to plug in a aftermarket DVD player, MP3 player, or iPod. The Navigation unit also has an RDS AM/FM radio which displays local radio station names. There is also a calendar and a memo/reminder which can display your personal messages or messages informing you when to do maintenance on your vehicle (oil changes, tire changes, tune ups, the list goes on and on). The colorful; graphical menus which display these options are alluring and can be selected conveniently with the touch of your finger.

This unit has a voice guidance feature that will vocally guide you to your destination.
