TVIS... should I use it?

Hey,
I realize I have alot of threads here at the moment, I suppose I'm in my one stage of asking questions, once the 4AGE conversion is complete I'll probably be answering alot anyway!
Anyway down to business. I have a JDM AE86 96kW Bigport 4AGE. It's had the TVIS removed, but included. I'm wondering whether its worth taking the intake back off and jamming the TVIS back on? What sort of advantages and disadvantages will I recieve with and without the TVIS?
Cheers,
Kev.

TVIS increases low down torque, while providing a very slight restriction at the top end (once your head/cams flow more than the runners).

Keep it, though the powerband will be more noticable without the TVIS (more top end, less bottom end) it'll probably accelerate slower

As CrUZsida said. It's going to benefit bottom end. When your head and cams can flow more than the manifold, then you can worry about removing it

My main wonder is why was it removed in the first place... Looks like it's been like that for a while and its been properly sealed without it... I suppose I'll hook it up again, nothing to lose...
Thanks for the info peeps.
