upgrading motor options in an AE94 hatchback

hi all,
total newbie to the site but have had a couple of sports cars (nissan N15-S2 SSS and Subaru Liberty RS) now, and the range of engines for the toyota to upgrade from I would like your advice on.
picking up an AE94 hatchback done about 80k, and looking at engine options to replace the stocko factory 1.6L 75kw.
immediately coming to mind is the 4AGE having driven an SX corolla with one of these and wow..... a sleeper that would surpirse those not ready, or getting the 20V version
wanting to find out how much work / money is needed for a 4AGZE which has a meatier torque curve and can also be dropped in relatively easlily
a couple of options have also come to mind being:
2ZZ-GE from the sportivo; and the
1ZZ-FE from the Levin
although I've yet to find any info on the above mods I would like to hear if they can be done and what it would cost
