i have a sc-14 suck thru carbie setup on my torana. ive noticed the inside of the pipe off the charger has a thin black film of oil over it. i did a search and its got somthing do do with the "breather" hoses on the blower ventilating it. thats my next question, the blower has i think 4 of these hose fittings. what are they for? at the moment i have them pluged up as they were leaning out the fuel mixture. is this ok to block up?
i checked the oil, it was abit low, about 120mls came out. what non-genuine oil can i use to replace it? i have some castrol 10w40 gear oil that is quite thin. ive heard the mobile 1 5w/40 is the go. will this castrol 10w/40 be ok?
