Hey pplz, i need some help on my car...this morning i when i took it out i heard a rattling noise wen i accelerate. The more i accelerate the louder it rattles...same sound as a worned C.V joint.
i realized it lost heaps of power too...and the engine idles at higher rpm.
Any one have any ideas? mayb experience this problem before?

Your cars fubar, sell it and buy a camry.



But really, it could be anything, could be crankshaft bearings, could be valve gear, could be a busted piston, could be a spanner left under the bonnet Razz the list goes on. Easy way, go and see a mechanic. Hard way, start pulling your engine apart and learn fast Confused .

i had same problem. it was loose 02 sensor on manifold

as you dont have CV joints it isnt them.get under the car{very safely}and shake the exhaust.

i had a look last night..found that its a exhaust leak.
Need to check the O2 sensor too..but havent got time to jack the car up yet.
