sprinter fuel system Sat, 24 September 2005 08:14 Go to next message
i recently put in a 4AGE into my sprinter and can't get around what fuel lines go where and which fuel lines are which, any help will be greatly appreciated.

to be honest it doesnt matter wat lines you use for wat, as long as there all hooked up the right way.

Blow compressed air into a line and find the end and label the 2 ends, then deside wether it should be the inlet, return or the vapour line.

Work your way thru the 3 lines joining them too their respective spots,then bobs ur uncle.

isn't there a mechanical pump inside the tank, so don't i use the line that comes from that to the external pump, but thats what i've heard so i'm not certain about it.

Im 100% certain, that 4ac fuel pump(presuming you had a 4ac in there previously) is vacumm (or similar) controlled and located in the engine bay on the motor.

The standard tank is empty of any parts.

Wat i suggested, we did to a mates 4ag conversion and it works fine, very fine infact.
