Guys, im in a delemma, i love my MZ and GZ soarers , but recently i went to a car yard and saw a 1989 Chaser for the same price i was looking at paying for a soarer Now my only beef was that the fatty chaser has 4 doors. but looks sexy like a mix of Cressida and Soarer which is ok. i poped the hood and saw something sad , a 1ggeu so this fatty chaser is getting pushed by a 6cyl non-turbo. which means if i buy it ill be looking at spending a hefty $2 - 4 k on a 1jz conversion. The car on the otherhand was immac , new tyres + rims , 17" somethings, has a small spoiler on the rear and leather seats , sunroof and all the options. but with 4 doors , that bitch is heavy, so guys i wanna know a few things 1. How rare are chasers in Aust, or Perth 2. How easy does the 1JZ go into a chaser 3. am i right on the cost of a 1JZ install ? 4. what parts is the chaser changeable with ? ie. Cressida/Soarer ? thats about it for now , all responses much loved. -cheers John [Report message to a moderator]
