Hey, i have a 91 corona, and have been losing coolant lately. Not alot, and i haven't identified a source as such, but i have to fill my reserve tank once every 3 weeks or so.
Anyway, i noticed a rusty powder that seemed to be coming from my spark plug wells a few weeks ago. I thoroughly cleaned that area out, and thought that would be the end of it.
but today i look and there it is again. Except this time it looks more like battery acid. It's a bluey powder.
I don't think this is a good sign at all, i'm thinking head gasket or something not good. However, there doesn't seem to be any oil contamination at all, nor is their coolant contamination.
The only thing that's possible, is that i've changed my spark plug type..from NGK to Denso. What could be wrong?
