Instrument cluster is in good condition, how's $35 delivered to your door sound, as my location which is clearly shown, is Perth, WA not Perth, Tas?!

yes it's a 4K. Motor ancilleries (ie, alt, fuel pump, dizzy, ...) are available, however I'd like to keep the long motor.
Forgot to mention, it has a KE55 style dash in it, not the earlier KE30 type. Can anyone tell me if this would be factory fitted, or a retrofit by someone? Car was built 6/77

Sorry, A short motor is basically a motor less the head and timing chain/belts and covers, and also minus the bolt on's (ie engine mounts, alt, starter, ...). A long motor is the complete engine less the bolt on ancilleries, and a complete motor is everything - including bolt on's!
If you know of any 3K or 4K motors to suit rebuild that you find in your travels, I'm interested?! Have plans to build a 3K rally motor to show someone up one day!

cool if i do come across any it will be in a bunky i / we (mates) buy for a bush hacker they usually pop a tyre or the clutch goes then we just sit a brick on the accelarator and wait for the bang you would be suprised how long a motor can sit there reving for a corolla with 2 popped tyres, bogged sat there for 10 minutes valve bouncing (it had a thermo) so we ran up took the brick off still idled sweet un hooked the thermo chucked the brick back on it lasted about 2 minutes then bang the radiator hose popped off and a few other lines black shit went every big cloud off smoke one cooked rolla

No, I was serious. I'm happy to come and pick it up, but if it's in the pine plantation, I don't have a 4WD so might need some help getting it. I'll also need "clean" engine number motors, if you don't know it's history, I'm not prepared to take the chance. Having said that, I'm happy to also check any engine number you can give me, on motors found in said pine plantation (we all know the history of cars that wind up there!).
