On thursday I'm buying a Gen 2 3S-GE with bellhousing to suit W series gearbox for $650 off a mate.
just a few quick questions:
1. what model MR2 did this come out of and what year models? is it an SW20?
2. How much power did these have from factory?
3. Does any company make forged internals for them or do you just have to get them made?
4. Any recurring problems with these engines?
5. It doesn't come with a computer so does anyone know of an aftermarket computer that works with a turboed one of these? I was thinking adaptronic. Don't want to spend too much on computer.
6. If not standalone how much approximately should I pay for a factory computer and are there any piggy-back computers that work well with them?
