4AC fuel problem Sun, 16 February 2003 09:16 Go to previous message
My neighbour across the road as an AE82 CS corolla with the 4AC, he recently replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter.

When he is driving in hot weather it seems to cut out, he stops and pours some petrol in the carby and away he goes.

The thing i see is when his car is running there is barely any fuel in the filter its very low hwere as on my brothers car(same engine) the fuel filter is almost on full.

Could the filter be faulty upon replacement or is the feed from the tank the problem or somthing else?

thanx for any help.
