ok the scissor door prices have been sent to me its a bit Pricey at nearly 1800 dollars for the kit itself , he can make them sometime soon he said he will get back to me when he starts doing them as he does it for a hobby , he also makes clear indicator lenses the ones that are on the web site they cost around 40 dollars or so , so if anyone is interested in it let me know so I can tell him
I think too many deals going on here hahaha scissor doors, bodykkits , etc etc

yeah normal scissor door conversion cost that much mate and maybe even more
be glad that these are soarer specific firstly due to the door hinges being different
secondly due to the fact that try getting these from anywhere else , if ur lucky to get one u will be paying an arm and a leg compared to what this guys offering
thirdly it doesnt seem to have any mods doen to fit the damn thing which is a wonder considering the shape and weight of the door and hinges
the guy has a soarer himself so he would have made it properly he also said that he only used one oil dumper( which is what he calls it -- gas struts i think he is reffering to )compared to two on universal kits due to the cost he said it works well though
the clear tail lights would look nice on an all black soarer like blk 1g-gtes soarer

stupid question time here but hear me out
will a g series diff fit into my soarer?
ok now my explaination im looking into buying a new diff centre coz well i feel my enjoys the cock ive got a f252 in my soarer im looking at a g series diff centre atm and im wondering will the centre fit the f series housing im assuming it wont so ill have to source a g series housing but will that bolt onto my soarer successfully also with different ratios will i need to change the speedo thingy

since a Z20 serries soarer comes stock with a g serries diff it will bolt in. In order for you to have the speedo reading correctly you need your dif ratios, gearbox and wheel size need to be matched to the speedo that they came from. In other words for it to be reading as it did from the factory, so does all the other numbers need to be from the factory.

yeah even changing the tyre size - profile will alter the sopeedo mines is out by 3k i think but under so i technically should be going slower than the speed so cant bebooked if im the limit
and yeah i checked that bar properly it looks like it might be a variant of the bomex as those small slits towards the bottom of the bar looks different so does the middle bit
stillo looks tough
i like
hope i can get something like that copied im trying to see if i cancopy the stocj front bar and modify it

guys the clear fron lenses are not being made anymore they wrere made by some other company and they have stopped production but the side clear indicators are still available
the scissor door need a bit of cutting but not much apparently and is a bit inconvenient but he said there is a knack to open and close it , so i have asked him for a video from his car
clear indicators for the side will be available in two weeks or so and scissor doors at the end of the year or jan
also asked him about bodykits
let u know what happens

hmmmmm that sucks about the front lenses . I'll still be in for the side ones though. I wonder if the rear lenses are the same shape as the front ones? They are clear. Now if they are i wonder where i could get them from?
Yeah the only differnce i can see between that front bar and the bomex one is the little driving lights, the round ones. yeah but the side skirts and the rear kit and the wing doesnt match the bomex one. Still stock is best, well that kit is pretty tough, except for the wing which is poo.

there isnt any rear indicators for the soarer apart from the ones thats are included in the tail lghts , i have asked the guy to see if he can still get them made
the side clear markers are still avail, front ones are no more but lookign else where , also asked if he an do the clear indicators for the rear tail lights rather than get the whole clear tail lights
and yeah the black front bar is the best one i have seen till now for the soarer apart from doluck , but i think it can still beat doluck if done up well
next have to source a good rear bar
i was wonderign about getting a kit from japan with all of us put some money to it , then have it copied here would only work if all wanted the same kit

I dont think they are indicators. If you look below the tail light on the grey strip that runs around the car you will see that there is a clear lense in it. Thats what i was refering to.
But i would guess if they did fit they would still be hard to fit.

So G series center fit the F housing? as it was stated that the G series diff will fit, not the center in the housing. As the Z10 has F diffs and if i can get a G series LSD it will still fit fine?
Also my speedo is about 20% out so i don't give a stuff about speedo change, although will the G make it over or under read? maybe thats why my speedo is out.
Also on the twin pipe note, maybe one was fake? i saw a little rice car driving around with HUGE pipes out each side, when he took off he must of been burning oil or something, but smoke only came out one side!!! i laughed so hard...

guys that black front bar i have got some info on , the one i posted before , the gy can get them from japan , they will cost 700 dollars , its very pricey and apparently one of the most expensive ones , but the price combined with shipping will be heaps for us ,

also those who are interested in the clear side indicators group buy lemme know soon as they guy will be maing them soon and needs to know the numbers

I posted some of these questions in another thread, but it seems like this is the first place all the soarer fans on toymods look.
My question is, does the mz20 soarer use 3-channel abs or 4-channel abs? Where are the abs wheel-speed sensors located?
If it is only 3 channel, will changing the gearbox from auto to manual be likely to screw up abs functionality?
Also, is the speed sensor in the gearbox a hall effect sensor? If so, has anyone had any luck with the Jaycar digital speedo correction kit?
