TA22 light/wiper controls to TA-RA23 stalk control

Hey all was just wondering if anyone has done this conversion so that the controlls are run through the stalk rather than the annoying pull buttons in the TA22.
Any help or info/theories of how it can be done would be a great help.

multimeter + parts needed = pioneer in this conversion.
basically, connect two points, tr all the switches to see if theres continuity, keep trying, eventually youll see what wires do what.
it will take a while though.

meh ta22 = 3 point switch
ta/ra23/28 = 3 point stalk switch.
i guess as long as you can mount it fine its just a matter of
using ta22 and ta/ra23/28 wiring diagrams (or trial and error multimetering) to join the right wiring up.
prob best to cut ta22 wiring before plug in the car loom...wire
in stalk connector/plug for neatness and ease.
can get ta22 wiring if needed...but you probably have...i could work out the ra28 wire colours/functions if needed tomorrow arvo?

yeah cheers Nath,
i havent got a 23 to check out, only the unit which houses the stalk,so any help would be greatly appreciated.
If the stalk can be attached properly hopefully the rest will fall into place.

aight i finish at 3pm.
will try to have wiring info for ya tomorow arvy.
from memory 4 screws hold the stalk to the steering column.
may have the provision there otherwise maybe something can be fabbed.

Swap steering column? The under dash mounts are the same, and the coupling to the steering box is also the same.
Might give you some options for switch gear, such as a Corolla intermitent wiper set up. Just sort the wiring.
